Bequia Island

Lower Bay is nearby, and is a popular, expansive beach frequented by many locals. There are several very good, reasonably priced, restaurants and bars, making it a favorite venue both during the day and in the evening.

Bequia-Lower Bay

Friendship Bay located on the eastern side of the island is a short hop from town, and it is a long, wide sweeping beach, with excellent conditions for diving, sailing and snorkeling. The charming Friendship Bay Hotel, with restaurant and beach bar, is located in the bay.

Bequia-Friendhip Bay

Hope Bay is just north of Friendship Bay, and is a remote, picturesque beach. Getting there can be a little difficult. With no hotels or bars, Hope Bay is ideal for day camping and picnicking.

Spring Bay is further north and secluded, dominated by tall coconut palm trees.
